The first day of JKP fall mini sessions was such a great day!! Mallory and I loved seeing so many JKP loyal clients and we enjoyed meeting a new family! I am in awe of everyone's outfits!!  Hopefully it was due to my awesome Fall Mini Session guide that I sent to everyone ;)  HA!!

We had donuts, coffee, Gatorade, juice boxes and water for everyone (call it a bribe for the kids if you may-ha!).

We started off with Mallory's gorgeous family!  Her daughter Charlotte has the cutest personality!  I was trying to get a family picture but she decided that she wanted to come strutting over to me and I fell in love with this image!!!  There are more of them all smiling as a family but this one just makes me giggle!

The "W" family was next and Brody was being shy but dad was able to get some really great smiles out of him!  This picture was just too sweet not to give as the sneak peek!

Next up is the "S" family.  Another sister and brother combination where the sister was absolutely perfect but little brother was super shy!  It's ok though - another dad to the rescue to get super adorable pictures of Asher!!

I have known the "G" family forever and this was their first true family session with me!  I was so happy that dad said yes to them :)  I was going to post a normal - everyone looking and smiling at the camera - picture .... but I decided on this one because it just makes me smile!!

The "S" family is next and mom wanted this picture and I'm so happy she asked for it because O.M.Geeeeee. ...  how adorable are these kids in Daddy's arms?!

Now we are onto the "R" kiddos!!!!!!  Mallory and I could NOT handle their cuteness!!!  It's been over a year since I photographed them and they didn't disappoint!!!  Izzy is such a ham and I love how her siblings think so too!!

The "T" family is always the sweetest family!  The love this family shares is so great!  I just hate how Parker is losing his cheeks!!  That means he's growing up ... time needs to slow down!!

Next up is the "Z" family - and talk about love!  Mom and dad are so stinking cute (they even came for pictures last month for their 10 year anniversary!)!  But kissing to the kids is ewwwww!  :)

The "F" family did so great but there is something about this picture of Lilly that I just can't get enough of!  I'm not sure if it's her blue eyes or those freckles OR her missing teeth!!  All I know is that I love this image of her!

This was the first time meeting the "H" family and boy did we have fun!  These sisters are so adorable so I had to post one of just them!  This is Kate telling Grace a secret about what she wanted for her birthday :)  Hope you got what you wanted, Kate!

Last but not least was my little sister and her gorgeous family!  I loved how the kids gave natural smiles since dad was with :)  My niece and nephew look so grown up though ... makes me shed a tear!  I know I said it before but I will say it again ... I need time to slow down!

Thank you to everyone who made this first day so absolutely perfect!  Can't wait to see the next group of families!

Second babies are so much fun!  Don’t get me wrong, the first baby is so incredibly special in every single way and I truly adore watching families welcome their first newborn baby. But there is just something so sweet about getting the opportunity to meet a family’s second baby. One of the most amazing things in the world is recognizing how different/similar, beautiful and wonderful two siblings can be. I am thrilled to be able to capture the "S" family as they continue to grow!

This blog post is way overdue but better late than never, right?!  I was absolutely thrilled when Lindsay told me she was having baby #3!  When she sent me a picture from their gender reveal party - I cried happy tears ... Mia and Nora were getting a brother!!  For my sake, I hope there are more to come ;)  HA!!  Love you, Lindsay and Adam and can't wait to see you every three months again!

When asked ... What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time? Lindsay said, "Yes, they were right, its a boy!"  Too stinking cute!!

I definitely think Owen will be loved by his big sisters!!! Mom said she looked over 1 day when he was just a couple weeks old and the girls were already trying to dress him up with Elmo's crown. He has no idea what's in store for him! Hee hee!!!!

 I just want to eat him up! Favorite part of the session was ... "seeing how peaceful Owen was and how great Jenni was."  Awe!!

I recently had a fantastic session with the “G” family (John, Rachael, Jack and Anna). This family has a very special place in my heart! Jack and Anna have both been a part of my Watch Me Grow package and have been coming to every duckling and Santa session for 4 years!

We met at 4 Rivers Environmental Center. I love photographing families here because of the gorgeous fields, trees and the river.  

 

 For our shoot, Rachael said she was looking for a light, bright summery look.  She found her son's shorts with the blue plaid and a touch of red at Walmart first and went around that.  Next was Mom's red dress from Carson's.  And her daughter's adorable Osh Kosh white dress had blue and red flowers which coordinated perfectly.  Daddy has a slew of shirts in his closet so she just shopped in his closet for his outfit. I think this look really made for some amazing photos!  Great job, Mama!

It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of Rachael: 

“Just have fun!  No matter what you wear or how much time you spend getting ready, just be yourself.  Your pictures will turn out beautiful if you are just relaxed and being the family that you are in front of the camera!,” she says. Solid advice!

Mom was asked to describe her family and she said ... John: fun daddy, Rachael: loving mommy, Jack: sweet, fun loving 4 year old, Anna: adorable, sassy 2 year old.  I think everyone's personalities were captured, don't you?!

Nothing's better than a big ol' lollipop! Both kids were super sweet and let the other try theirs!

"S" Sisters | Child Photographer | Jenni Kenney Photography | Minooka, IL

The topic of discussion for today is none other than the "S" girls, ... three gorgeous sisters from Chicago. If the names or faces look familiar to you, it's because I've photographed the two older girls before (look how much they've grown in 2 years!!). 

I was super excited when I got an email from Janessa saying she wanted to book another session with their 3 children. I was happy to know that they enjoyed me as much as I enjoyed them! 

When asked 'why did you decide to do another session' - Janessa said, "Because you're fantastic :)!"  That made me smile so big!!!

Since my last session with Sophia and Bailey went so well, I knew it wouldn't be any different this time around. And I was right! Check it out for yourself:

From oldest to youngest, we have Sophia 10, Bailey 5, and Shae 1.

My goal with the updated site is to provide current and future clients more information about my photography services.  You can also read an updated "Meet Jenni" section and find out a little more as to why I do what I do in the "Investment" page!

There are new features on the site - drop down menus (to get you where you want a lot quicker than before), the home page social media links to connect with JKP for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. I will be constantly updating the content with new images to go into each of the Showcase pages and client love notes on the "Client Reviews" page.

Meet Graham | Newborn Photographer | Minooka, IL | Jenni Kenney Photography, LLC

Photo lovers, today I have the distinct pleasure of introducing you to baby Graham, who was 7 days new during his newborn session. 

Funny story about Mr. Graham ... mom and dad thought he was going to be a girl!  They were a bit surprised when Mommy delivered him and doctor said he was a healthy baby boy :)   I think that's why he smiled so much for me!

I think we can all agree his adorable face and blonde hair  should earn him a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I'm practically melting from cuteness overload!

“I am absolutely in love with his pictures!!! They are all so precious! Thank you so much!” says mom Brenda.
