Winter Wonderland with Santa! Family Photographer | Minooka, IL

Of course I had to create a new theme for day two of outdoor Santa sessions!  Thanks to my awesome neighbors for allowing me to take up a corner of their yard and for the winter wonderland ideas!  You guys really are the best! And thanks to my neighbor Janet, my hubby and Mallory for helping decorate this gorgeous set!

These boys enjoyed some marshmallows ... er, I mean hot cocoa with Santa! How cute are they?!!!

Where did my little girl go?!  Kyra looks so grown up to me here!

Lilly had the best expression when she opened up her present from Santa!  She must have been a super good girl!

Bahaaaaaaaa!!!  Sutton was NOT happy again this year with Santa so we tried to take a picture with just her brothers but she was not having that either!  These guys have the best pictures every year!!!

The "F" boys were having a great time with Santa!!!

Thanks Santa for another job well done!!!  Me, you and Mallory sure make a great team!

I absolutely love the fact that I have been able to put all my time into my photography business!  I have always wanted to do a "Polar Express" type theme with Santa and I'm super excited to share those images with you!  Thank you to Mallory, Santa, my little sister and my hubby for making this vision come true!  You guys are the best!

These three were told that their elf left them presents in their car!  Just love the look on Madelyn's face while talking with the big guy!

 OMG!  I absolutely love this of Delaney and Parker talking with Santa!!!!!  Everything about this image is magical!

Mallory and I couldn't handle how adorable Caden looked in his Yeti outfit!!  Look at those slippers!  So adorable!

Collin was knocking on the back of the caboose and Santa came to help.  The look these kids give Santa literally makes my heart so happy!!!!

Mia thought it was hilarious that her little sister didn't like Santa!  He was trying to be sneaky and get in the picture but Nora caught him!  Too cute!

Little Emmett did not like Santa!  One day he'll love him!

Love that mom monogramed their pjs!  Jacob, Josh and Jackson loved Santa reading them the story about the Polar Express!

 Mallory and I had the BEST time during these sessions!  Having a sunny 60+ degree day in November definitely helped but these kiddos really made our day!  Thank you so much to all of my clients who put their trust in me to provide them with these magical memories!

My second set of fall minis was supposed to take place Saturday late afternoon but unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't agree.  We rescheduled for the following morning and somehow all 8 families were able to make it!  Woo hoo!!  And on to the beautiful images I was able to capture ...

We started off with the "F" family and their three gorgeous boys!  I was in love with the colors that Mom chose for her family!  The love these brothers have for each other is unreal!

Next up was the "R" family and their sweet little ones!  Colton was so sweet to give his big sister Ava some flowers!  Just look at the curls on both of these beautiful children!!!!  LOVE!

Next was Daddy and his baby girl!  This session literally melted my heart!  Madi is definitely a Daddy's girl! I love the fact that this was a gift from Daddy's best friend's family!  There is love all around these two!

Next up was the "S" family.  I had to post this picture of Lilly and her mama because when I asked Lilly if she was the most beautiful girl in the world - her response was, "No, my mom is."  She was so matter of fact that my heart was so full!!  Precious!

Up next was the "B" family. Love how sweet this image is of this absolutely gorgeous family! Everyone tickle Daddy!!!

Now we are on to this absolutely adorable "M" family!  Little Miss Aubrey was such a ham with mom and dad!!  One ... two ... three ... SWING!

The "G" family never disappoints but this image of the three middle children is seriously sooooo stinking cute that I had to post as sneak peek!

I can't handle the cuteness of the "B" family and their newest addition, Ash!  Daddy was holding her and the entire family went running and had to join in ... love!!

Thank you again for such a great day!!  Mallory and I had such a heart warming day!

The first day of JKP fall mini sessions was such a great day!! Mallory and I loved seeing so many JKP loyal clients and we enjoyed meeting a new family! I am in awe of everyone's outfits!!  Hopefully it was due to my awesome Fall Mini Session guide that I sent to everyone ;)  HA!!

We had donuts, coffee, Gatorade, juice boxes and water for everyone (call it a bribe for the kids if you may-ha!).

We started off with Mallory's gorgeous family!  Her daughter Charlotte has the cutest personality!  I was trying to get a family picture but she decided that she wanted to come strutting over to me and I fell in love with this image!!!  There are more of them all smiling as a family but this one just makes me giggle!

The "W" family was next and Brody was being shy but dad was able to get some really great smiles out of him!  This picture was just too sweet not to give as the sneak peek!

Next up is the "S" family.  Another sister and brother combination where the sister was absolutely perfect but little brother was super shy!  It's ok though - another dad to the rescue to get super adorable pictures of Asher!!

I have known the "G" family forever and this was their first true family session with me!  I was so happy that dad said yes to them :)  I was going to post a normal - everyone looking and smiling at the camera - picture .... but I decided on this one because it just makes me smile!!

The "S" family is next and mom wanted this picture and I'm so happy she asked for it because O.M.Geeeeee. ...  how adorable are these kids in Daddy's arms?!

Now we are onto the "R" kiddos!!!!!!  Mallory and I could NOT handle their cuteness!!!  It's been over a year since I photographed them and they didn't disappoint!!!  Izzy is such a ham and I love how her siblings think so too!!

The "T" family is always the sweetest family!  The love this family shares is so great!  I just hate how Parker is losing his cheeks!!  That means he's growing up ... time needs to slow down!!

Next up is the "Z" family - and talk about love!  Mom and dad are so stinking cute (they even came for pictures last month for their 10 year anniversary!)!  But kissing to the kids is ewwwww!  :)

The "F" family did so great but there is something about this picture of Lilly that I just can't get enough of!  I'm not sure if it's her blue eyes or those freckles OR her missing teeth!!  All I know is that I love this image of her!

This was the first time meeting the "H" family and boy did we have fun!  These sisters are so adorable so I had to post one of just them!  This is Kate telling Grace a secret about what she wanted for her birthday :)  Hope you got what you wanted, Kate!

Last but not least was my little sister and her gorgeous family!  I loved how the kids gave natural smiles since dad was with :)  My niece and nephew look so grown up though ... makes me shed a tear!  I know I said it before but I will say it again ... I need time to slow down!

Second babies are so much fun!  Don’t get me wrong, the first baby is so incredibly special in every single way and I truly adore watching families welcome their first newborn baby. But there is just something so sweet about getting the opportunity to meet a family’s second baby. One of the most amazing things in the world is recognizing how different/similar, beautiful and wonderful two siblings can be. I am thrilled to be able to capture the "S" family as they continue to grow!
